About Big NGO

Big NGO's onboarding team is responsible for taking an NGO from 'just signed up' to 'fully live website, donation page, and first donor received.' You will work with NGO founders, trustees, and coordinators across India — most of them non-technical, all of them doing important work.

What you will do

  • Guide new NGOs through the platform setup process end-to-end
  • Conduct onboarding calls (Hindi and English) with NGO leadership
  • Configure website templates, donation pages, and member portals for clients
  • Train NGO staff on using the platform's core features
  • Identify and escalate technical issues to the engineering team
  • Gather product feedback from NGOs and relay it to the product team
  • Maintain client health dashboards and flag at-risk accounts

What you need

  • 1+ years in a customer success, onboarding, or support role
  • Excellent Hindi communication skills — most of our NGOs are Hindi-first
  • Patient, empathetic approach to non-technical users
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and explain it simply
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, CRM tools, and video calls
  • Genuine interest in the NGO and social sector

Nice to have

  • Prior work with or for an NGO
  • Knowledge of NGO compliance basics (80G, 12A, FCRA)
  • Experience with Freshdesk, Intercom, or similar support tools
  • Regional language skills beyond Hindi
